He was predeceased by: his parents, Melville Bailey and Heather Bailey (Roseaman); his siblings, Geoff Bailey and Margaret Perry (Ken); his brothers-in-law, Ian Robinson and Robin Jeffrey; and his niece Fiona.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Bailey (Robinson); his children, Maggie (Brian Heldman) and John C. Bailey (Heidi Yantzi-Bailey); his grandchildren, Zach, Austin, Selina (Derek) and Noah (Ellie); his sister Ruth Robinson; his sisters-in-law, Evelyn Bailey and Barbara Jeffrey; and his nieces and nephews, Neil (Yvonne), Andrea (Russell), Debbie (Amanda), Sally (Simon), Jill (Duncan), Katy, Alan, David (Suzanne) and Catherine (Cameron). He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
As expressions of sympathy, donations would be welcomed in John's honour to the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre or the St. Mary's General Hospital Cardiac Unit would be appreciated by the family and can be done through the funeral home website.
