Jan Latimer Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jan Latimer of New Hamburg, Ontario, who passed away on April 26, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husbands, Eric Latimer, Ronald Swanson and Floyd McCarthy; her parents, Arthur Rooley and Margaret Rooley; her siblings, Arthur (Art), Sidney (Sid), Robert Rooley (Bob), Genevieve and Lucy Rooley; and her grandson Dion Warren.

She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Warren (George), Deborah Larocque (Jeff), Sharon McCarthy (Sherry) and Colleen Hochgeschurz (Eric); her stepchildren, Deb D'Addario (Greg), Randy Swanson (Heather), Paul Latimer (Laura) and Gail Latimer (Ed McGowan); her brother Louis Rooley (Lou); and her grandchildren, Melissa, Markie, Shaina, Louisa, Jordan, Alex, Christopher, Carina, Katelyn, Katrina, Alicia, Shane, Candace, Allison and Corin. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Due to COVID restrictions, arrangements for a service to honour Jan will be made when permitted.

As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations would be accepted to Durham Region Hospice, Innisfree House, Parkinson Canada or Zion United Church, New Hamburg.
