James Leslie Dobney Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Leslie Dobney of New Hamburg, Ontario, born in Palmerston, Ontario, who passed away on September 6, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Yvonne Dobney; and his close friend Charlie Schiedel. He is survived by: his children, Bill Dobney (Dianne), Heather Fletcher (Larry) and Tim Dobney (Sherry); and his grandchildren, Lesley (Tony), Robin (Garrett), Karen (Jeremy), Jennifer (Scott), Lisa (Brian), Mitchell (Danah) and Allison (Matt). He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 12th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Amberlea Presbyterian Church (1820 Whites Rd N, Pickering, ON L1V1R8).
In lieu of flowers, donations to MS Society or Hospice Wellington in Guelph would be greatly appreciated.
