She was predeceased by: her husband Ervin S. Bender; her parents, Abraham Steinmann and Mary Steinmann (Roth); her daughter Mary Bender; and her siblings, Reuben, Walter (Leona), Arthur (Florence), Ervin (Erma), Mabel (Reuben), Dorothy (Willard) and Ruth (Ross).
She is survived by: her children, Philip (Loretto), Charles (Karen), Dennis, Frank (Darlene) and Sally (Steven); her grandchildren, Lora, Robbie, Jessica, Tommy, Lena, Benjamin, Anna-Rose, Bridget, Noah, Malachi, Raphael, Keenan, Sophie, Erin, Sarah, Rachel and Jamie; and her brother David (Ruth). She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, her many nieces, nephews.
As expressions of sympathy, and in lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Innisfree House, or St. Mary's Hospital through the funeral home. Donations may also be made directly to Steinmann Mennonite Church.
