He is survived by: his wife Frances; his children, Susan Fremit (Guy Holsten), Jane Debbrecht (Jim), Lynda McCarthy (Alex Magditsch) and Peter McCarthy (Cindy); his grandchildren, Sonja Johnston (Glenn), Juliana Magditsch, Matjia and Rhiannon McCarthy; his great grandchildren, Liam and Evan Johnston; his sister Elsie; his brother-in-law Ken Dalton; his niece Jennifer; his nephew Andrew; and his close friends, Jean Murdoch, Beth, Bill Austin, Mara Dodig, Vickie and Graham Dunnet.
