He was predeceased by: his parents, Abraham Steinmann and Mary Steinmann (Roth); his siblings, Mabel (Reuben Kennel), Reuben, Walter (Leona), Dorothy (Willard Schwartzentruber), Arthur (Florence) and Ruth (Ross Bender); and his siblings-in-law, Ervin Bender, Catherine Bartman, Vernon Leis, Florence, Harold McFarlane, Ralph and Jeanne Leis.
He is survived by: his wife Erma Steinmann (Leis); his children, Susan Seyler (David Seyler) of New Hamburg, Nancy Steinmann Yantzi (Lynn Yantzi) of New Hamburg and Doug Steinmann (Lynne Baril) of New Hamburg; his grandchildren, James, John, Rachel, Stephen, Andrew, Justin, Michelle, Stephanie, Kory, Trevor and Curtis; his great grandchildren, Noah, Rebecca, Lillian, Connor, Leah, Michael, Evelynn, Jonathan, Zach, Logan, Lucas, Peyton, Brooklyn, Ethan and Addison; his siblings, Irene Bender and David Steinmann (Ruth); and his sister-in-law Arvilla Leis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins.
