He was predeceased by: his parents, Atherton Taylor and Myrtle Taylor (McAllister); and his sisters, Marilyn Sproul and Viola Dryden. He is survived by: his wife Helen Marie Taylor (Brown); his children, Catherine Bird of Kitchener and Chris Taylor of Crystal Beach; his grandchildren, Ryan, Liza, Marisa, Lia, Noah and Carter; and his siblings, Arthur (Lyn Taylor) and Marjorie Stout of Brampton.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Donations are being accepted for: HEART STROKE FOUNDATION ONTARIO (HEART AND STROKE FOUNDATION OF ONTARIO).
