He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernst Hallberg and Emmy Hallberg (Karlsson); his son James Hallberg; and his siblings, Folke, Erik Hallberg, Majlis and Uno Karlsson.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Hallberg (Cowan); his children, Tor Hallberg (Shelley), Janet Brueckner (Larry Luckhart) and David Hallberg; his grandchildren, Britta, Jemica, Jessica, Carl and Paul; and his daughter-in-law Monique Hallberg. He is also survived by his 7 great-grandchildren.
As expressions of sympathy, donations would be accepted to the Diabetes Association or Trinity Lutheran Church and can be made through the funeral home (Cheques Accepted).
