He was predeceased by: his parents, Stella Long and Emerson Long; his in-laws, Marguerite and Wilson Schnarr; and his sisters, Marion (Irvine Silverthorne), Leone (Al Gunn), Violet and Cora.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanette; and his brothers, Osborne (Irene), Edgar and Albert. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
