He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Poth and Elsie Poth (Shantz); his former wife Phyllis Poth; his wife Ida Poth; his stepson Allan Hiehn; and his siblings, Earl Poth (Gertrude), Robert Poth and Muriel Dilworth (Glen).
He is survived by: his children, Valerie (Andrew McEachern), Susan Poth and Andrew (Charlene Poth); his grandchildren, Donald McEachern (Shannon), Grace McEachern, Jamie Poth (Caitlin) and Kaitlyn Jantzi (Jordan); his great grandchildren, Travis, Ethan McEachern and Quinn Poth; his stepchildren, Fran Dittenhoffer (Ted), Jacqueline Lichty (Clifton) and Darlene Gies (Dennis); his stepdaughter-in-law Deborah Hiehn; and his sisters-in-law, Margaret Arnold and Beth McDougall. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
As expressions of sympathy, and in lieu of flowers, donations would be accepted to Nithview Community or a charity of One's Choice, and can be done through the funeral home.
