She was predeceased by: her parent Edward Herbst; her husband Milton; her son-in-law Ken Douglas; her great grandchild Jessie Daniel Foerster; and her siblings, Carl Herbst (Ruth), Frederick Herbst (Pearl), Sadie Brusso (Noah), Allan Herbst, Carl Foerster (Doris), Lillian Tanner (George), Mabel Seim (Fred) and Gertie Tone (Francis).
She is survived by: her parent Katharine Herbst; her children, Catherine Dickison (Bill) of Walkerton, Dennis Foerster (Barbara) of Neustadt, Sheila Karl (Paul) of St. Jacob, Faye Douglas of Drayton, Carol Scott (Bill) of Harriston, Deborah Richardson (Brad), Steven Foerster (Connie) and Heather Roth (Jason Schneider) of Harriston; and her siblings-in-law, Paul Foerster (Barb) of Ayton and Helene Herbst of Waterloo. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren.
Memorial donations to the Canadian Wildlife Fund or to the Canadian Bible Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
