He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Helwig and Ruth Helwig. He is survived by: his wife Lynda Helwig of Neustadt; his children, Rina Helwig (Kevin Teeter) of London and Erin Helwig of Elmira; his grandchildren, Emmersen, Harrison and Andersen; and his siblings, Susan (Gerry) of Toronto, Murray (Debra) of Walkerton, Paul of Neustadt, Sarah of Quebec City and Stephen of Calgary. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations to the Neustadt Baptist Church would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
