It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Florence Weltz of Neustadt, Ontario, who passed away on March 12, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Florence Weltz to show support.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lisetta Hilgartner and Edwin Planz; her husband Lorne W. Weltz; and her siblings, Eldon (Eleda), Howard (Helen), Lorne, Mervyn (Joanne), Mildred Volz (Ivan), Ruth McArthur (Jack) and Shirley MacDonald (Don).

She is survived by: her children, Karen, Ed Sorensen of Wetaskiwin, AB, Wendy Peter and Neil of Neustadt; her grandchildren, Blaine Sorensen (Carrie), Darren Sorensen (Tammy), Jason Peter (Rhonda) of Neustadt, Niki Peter (Reg) of Neustadt and Jaime Peter (Dave) of Elmira; and her siblings, Gerald (Terry) and Elaine Kingsley (late Al). She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
