He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Kenny and Della Kenny; and his siblings, Edna "Teddy", Brian and Bert.
He is survived by: his wife Iris Kenny; and his children, Stephen (Donna), Kim, Jeff (Maxine) and Peter (Ann). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
