She was predeceased by: her husband Joe Griffin; her parents, F. X. Desarmia and Maud Desarmia (Nee Cox); and her siblings, Leo Desarmia (late Maude), Margaret Bradley (late Leonard) and Audrey Lantz (late Norman).
She is survived by: her children, Peter Griffin (Heather Harrison) of Ottawa, Deborah Nieminen (Martti) of Ottawa, Susan Busch of Ottawa and Angela Slonosky (Michael) of Ottawa; her grandchildren, Christopher Busch (Jennifer), Erik Nieminen (Catherine Genest), Jennifer Slonosky (Brett Kovar) and Jonathon Slonosky (Emilea Chapman); and her great grandchild Alex Busch. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews and extended family.
