He was predeceased by: his former wife Gladys; and his parents, Madonna Cole and Gilbert Cole. He is survived by: his spouse Beverly Nightingale; his children, Jeff (Bev), Stephen (Debbie), Terry (Tracy), Nancy Frame (Rodney), Lynn (Bob), John and Brenda (Gary); his grandchildren, Stewart (Pascale), Jamie (Laurie), Jessica, Ryan (Lisa), Julia (Paul), Kaitlin (Derek), Hayden, Dalton, Samantha (Matthew) and Lindzy; his great grandchildren, Ava, Declan and Preston; and his siblings, June Laderoute (Charlie) and Brian (Valerie).

Funeral mass will be held at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, 15 Steeple Hill Cres., Nepean on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at 11 a.m. Those wishing may make donations to Ruddy-Shenkman Hospice or the Queensway Carleton Hospital ACE Unit.
