He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Young; his child Ronald "Ronnie"; his parents, Thomas Lawrence Brown and Lola Mabel Winchester; and his sibling Lorne (Thelma).

He is survived by: his children, Stephen and Jeffrey (Laina); and his grandchildren, Jenna, Logan and Caden.
