He is survived by: his father Poppa; his wife Shirley; his children, Joanne (David), Carolyn (Chris) and Shane (Ingrid); his grandchildren, Connor, Kelsey, Cassidy, Taia, Sophie, Sam and McKenna; and his sister Marg Hutt (Lee). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice Care Ottawa (Ruddy-Shenkman) where he received outstanding care.
