He was predeceased by: his wife Betty; his daughters, Vicki Marshall (Mit) and Heidi Shandala; his grandson Alexander; and his sister Maxine.

He is survived by: his grandchildren, Casey Distenfano (Paul), Erin Boisvert (Aaron), Carrie King (Melvin), Graham King and Justin King; his great grandchildren, Colton, Lyric, Grayson, Gage, Wyatt, Briar, Callum, Allsun, Kai, Caleb, Noah and Haven; his great great grandchildren, Payton and Carter; and his siblings, Helen and Frank. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
