He was predeceased by: his wife Norma Mather; and his parents, Harry and Marion. He is survived by: his children, Barbara Marshall (Don), John Mather (Susan), Jimmy Mather (Debbie) and Bette Hutchinson (Nigel); his grandchildren, Jordan, Nicole (Chris), Shawn (Christine), Heather, Lauren (Hank), Robert and Michael; his great grandchildren, Felicia and Jeremiah; and his sister Elsie Schikor (late Hans) of Sudbury.
