He was predeceased by: his spouse Jean Young; his sister Madeline Holmes (Morley); and his parents, Perry Young and Clara Young. He is survived by: his children, Patricia Hare (Garnet) of Napanee, Elizabeth Despres (Mike) of Napanee, Gary Young (Angela) of Napanee, Nancy Hart (Randy) of Napanee and James Young (Jan York) of Napanee; and his siblings, Marguerite McCutcheon (late Roy) and Marion Kingston. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren.

Memorial donations made to the Salvation Army of Napanee would be appreciated by the family.
