He was predeceased by: his sibling Eugene Dowling (Elizabeth). He is survived by: his children, Peter Dowling of British Columbia and Patricia Dowling (Tony Pereira) of Point Edward; his grandson Donovan; and his siblings, Jim Dowling (Eleanor) of Belleville and Louise Way of Brockville.
