He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Beattie and Marjorie Beattie (Alma); and his siblings, Shirley Ann, Bonnie, Bill, Jim and Arnold Alkenbrack.
He is survived by: his children, Erin Beattie (Jason Jerome) and Chris Lambert; his grandchildren, Arielle, Greyson, Taylor and Makayla; and his siblings, Charlie (Jackie), George, Barb Tattrie, Hughena Palmateer and Joeanne Maracle (Wayne). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations made to the Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
