Margaret Alice Palmateer Obituary

The memory of Margaret Alice Palmateer (Napanee, Ontario), who passed away on April 15, 2025 at the age of 85, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her husband Royce; her sons, Barry and Allen (Valerie); her parents, Thomas Hughes and Lily Hughes; and her sister Twila Parks.

She is survived by: her children, John (Nancy), Susan (Brian), Karen (Wayne), Debbie (John) and Bill (Jen); and her siblings, George Hughes (Emily), Harry Hughes (Loretta), Rodney Hughes (Heather) and Eileen Cain. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A celebration of life was held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Deseronto Legion Upstairs.
