He was predeceased by: his wife Mabel Merol Mitchell; and his brothers, Rodney (Gloria) and Reginald (Shirley). He is survived by: his children, Steven of Napanee, Keith (Vicki) of Hartington and Judy Janzen (Ronald) of Bath; his grandchildren, Erich, Lynsay, Laura and Kevin (Miranda); his great grandchildren, Hunter and Hayden; and his sisters-in-law, Lois Schmidt and Shirley Mitchell. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews.

Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the Lennox Community Theatre and will be remembered with appreciation by the family .
