He was predeceased by: his parents, Willem Boot and Willimina Boot; and his sibling Willem Boot (Mara). He is survived by: his brother Robert Boot (Beverly); his significant other Katharine (Nee Grant); his children, Deborah Frizzell (Paul), Martha Snider (Bob), Robert Boot (Heather) and Stephen Boot (Valerie); his grandchildren, Bridgette Brown (Tim), Kristie Sands (Jason), Jennifer (Chad), Kristen (Doug), Brett Frizzel (Alana), Katie Amador (Josiah), Ethan Boot, Dalton Boot, Melissa Boot (Brian), Erica Reynolds (Curt), Jessica Boot (Matt) and Kayla Boot; and his siblings-in-law, Shane Grant (Sue), Faith Kouri and Jocelyn Grey (Spencer). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
