He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary Jane (Stephens); his sons, Drew (Vancouver) and Sean; his parents, George Albert and Dorothy Ann Romanick (Longbranch); his siblings-in-law, Susan McConnell, Elizabeth Gabriel, Mark Stephens and Kelly Ormerod; and his nephews, Shane, Ryan McConnell, Matthew and Keith Gabriel.
