Though Frederic may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Frederic touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Colleen Nehornick (late Boris) and Reg Shier (Irene); and his parents, Thomas Shier and Eva Shier. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Ferguson; his stepchildren, Philip Potter (Nathalie) and Karen Potter (Donn) of Montreal; and his sister Lynne Zacharuk (Blaine) of Drumheller, AB.
