He was predeceased by: his siblings, Sheila Burke, Ray Akey of Ompah and Donna Salmon (late Gerald) of Napanee. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Akey (Forsyth); his children, Vernon Akey (June) of Cloyne and Holly Clark (Bill) of Napanee; and his grandchildren, Ashley and Billy Clark.
