He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Stitt and May Desjardins; his wife Frances Caldwell; his former wife Gwen Thacker; his siblings, Meryle (late Ishmael Pleau), Eldon (late Lillis), Merton "Bodie" (late May), William "Billy" (Emma), Gary and Dawson (Lynn); and his stepchildren, Vicky Caldwell and Brian Caldwell (late Esther).
He is survived by: his children, Jaimie (Sandy), Gayle Caldwell and Kathy Lauzon (late Jean-Guy); and his sisters, Phyllis (late Bob Hayley) and Linda (Bill Piercy). He is also survived by his grandchildren, great grandchildren, his many nieces, nephews, friends.
In keeping with health guidelines, please wear a mask and social distance at all times, 50% maximum capacity at any one time will be regulated by funeral staff for everyone's safety.
Memorial donations made to the Lennox and Addington County Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
