We bid farewell to Doris V. Lowry (Napanee, Ontario), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 4, 2025 at the age of 97. Doris touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Fred; her son Roger; her parents, James Jayne and Edna Jayne; and her siblings, Clarence Jayne, Alice McGill and Roy Jayne.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Christian (late Lyle), Kingston, Steve (Deb), Brenda Scott Napanee (Doug), Brian (Angie) and Kevin (Betty); her grandchildren, Shalane (Derek), Melanie, Adam (Dana), Amy (Billy), Chloe and Brendan; and her great grandchildren, Maddy, Abby, Declan, Cal, Felix, Jessica and Remy. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wartman Funeral Home "napanee Chapel" (448 Camden Rd, Napanee, ON K7R1G1). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Riverside Cemetery (326 Church St, Napanee, ON K7R1C7).
Memorial donations to the Lennox and Addington County General Hospital Foundation or The John M. Parrott Centre Activation Programs will be appreciated.
