He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Bonner and Madeline Bonner; his siblings, Susan Miller (John), Doug and William 'Bill'; and his brother-in-law Patrick Maracle.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Bonner; his children, Brennan of Tyendinaga Territory, Vanessa (Steve) of Tyendinaga Territory and Colin (Joanne) of Tyendinaga Territory; his grandchildren, Stephanie (Brayden), Dorian, Bradley, Melanie, Wesley, Brie and Jack; his sister Shirley Bonner of Napanee; his brother-in-law Darrel; and his nieces and nephews, Gananoque, Marguerite of Kingston and Sydenham. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, friends and relatives.
For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Canadian Lung Association or the Parish of Tyendinaga (All Saints Church) in memory of Don.
