She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Orvil Brooks; her children, James (Lori) of Shannonville, Karen Claus (Paul) of Deseronto, Carl (late Marion) of Northbrook, Clarke (Carolyn) of Lyn, Lorna Mason (Alexander) of Medicine Hat, Greg (Kelly), Scott (Darlene) and Daryl of Napanee; and her siblings, Carrie Davey (Robert) of Napanee, Margaret Howell, Donald, Edmund and Helen Furse.
