He is survived by: his significant other Margaret Mallory of Tweed; his children, Lori Hird (Richard) of Tamworth, Susan Garnet (Larry) of Calgary, Wendy Martin (Paul) of Cloyne and BJ Skillen (Andrea) of Kingston; his grandchildren, Megan, Mikaela, Richie, Kayla, Jamie, Tristan, Sarah, Jenna and Waylon; and his sister Barbara Perry (George).
