He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred'Pete' Heard and Rose Heard; and his siblings, Jim, Ted and Nancy.
He is survived by: his wife Connie; his children, Peter of Toronto, Karin Ramsden (Jeff) of London and Steven (Sher) of Hamilton; and his grandchildren, Amon and Anya of London.
