She was predeceased by: her parents, Georg Alexy and Anna Alexy (Haar); and her daughter Barbara (Heinz). She is survived by: her child Rainer Mikler (Marianne); her son-in-law Burkard Richter; her grandchildren, Carl (Kathy), Karina, Alex (Stephanie), Nicholas (Nicole) and Christopher (Emily); her great grandchildren, Carl Jr., Lukas, Josh, Colton, Allison, Adam, Norah, Caleb and Liv; her sister Inge Bantel; and her sibling-in-law Rudi Mikler (Brigitte). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (202 Erie St, Stratford, ON N5A2M8). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
