She was predeceased by: her husband John Willis Edward Thomson; her son Robert of Toronto; her parents, Lottie Tait and Norman Tait of Parry Sound; and her siblings, Norma Weller of Woodstock, Bill Tait, Jack Tait and Ivan Francis Tait of Parry Sound.

She is survived by: her children, David, Diane Lawrence (Richard) of London, Paul (Laurence) of Strasbourg, France and Stephen (Fran Plumb) of London; and her grandchildren, Philip Thomson, Matthew Lawrence, Edward, Hugh and Hilda Thomson.
