He was predeceased by: his son Andrew Boddy; his son-in-law Rev. John Polačok; his parents, Robert Aitken and Ella Aitken; and his sister Mary Kuindersma.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his children, Kim Aitken, Bruce, Michele Aitken, Tammy Aitken, Jenny, Brian Zeinstra, Rod and Sara Aitken; his grandchildren, Ryan, Tori, Chris, Brendon, Nikki, Jake, Noah, Lola, Olivia, Jack, Wes, Sam and Max; his great grandchildren, Lilly, Layla and Sawyer; and his sister Alma MacRae. He is also survived by cousins and cousins were friends.
