He was predeceased by: his father William Henry "Harry" Chamberlain; and his grandparents, Henry and Florence Chamberlain. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Chamberlain (Groff); his children, Heike Martin (Jay) and Jason (Rhonda); his grandchildren, Zakary, Marissa, Sadie and Teagan; his mother Marie Chamberlain (Stockman); and his siblings, Janice (John Dolan), Frank (Cathy), Brian (Marion), Debbie Young (Neil), Harold (Debbie) and Julie King (Jason).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Rick's memory can be made to Hope Community Church (Hanover) or the Cancer Centre at the Louise Marshall Hospital (c/o the Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation). Any donations should be made payable to either the church or the foundation and mailed to the England Funeral Home.
