He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Cindy; his children, Devin and Dylan; his mother Barbara; his parents-in-law, Linda and Albert; his siblings, Kim and John (Melanie); his siblings-in-law, Tim and Amanda (Jeremy); his father Bill; and his sister-in-law Diane. He was also cherished by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and great-nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to McMaster Children's Hospital Foundation or Big Brothers Big Sisters would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
