She was predeceased by: her former husband Birss Alexander; her husband Fred Wichers; her siblings, Betty Sivill and Bill Ramsbottom; and her siblings-in-law, Marianne Ramsbottom, Fred Sivill, Don Gillies and Robert Sivill.
She is survived by: her children, Glen Alexander (Joanne), Wanda Wilson (Randy), Margaret Balfoort (Luuk), Henry Wichers (Lynn), Fred Wichers (Nikki) and Judy Wichers; her grandchildren, Ginny Alexander (Mike), Shane Wilson (Steffi), Jeff Wilson (Melissa), Tracey Matthews (Scott), Micheal Balfoort (Lori), Paul Balfoort (Shannon), Melody Dekorte (Jason), John Balfoort (Danielle), Greg Balfoort (Shelagh), Peter Balfoort, Ryan Wichers (Christine), Chris Wichers (Kat), Jillian Schroeder (Mike), Rebecca Stewart (Rob), Brittany Walton (Chris) and Breanna Martel; her sisters, Mary Sivill and Ethel Gillies; and her cousin Dariel Bateman. She is also survived by 38 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
