She was predeceased by: her husband Ernest "Ernie" Read; and her sister Elsie Stevens (Harold Stevens). She is survived by: her children, Stephen Read (Katherine), Colleen McGregor (Hugh) and Heather Emery (John); and her siblings, Harold Kent, Jo Rains, Jean Gallagher and Fred Kent. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews.
