He was predeceased by: his son Alex Szablowski; and his parents, Felix Szablowski and Marie Szablowski. He is survived by: his son Eric Szablowski of Mount Forest; and his grandson Tyson Triggerson. He is also survived by his extended family and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 20th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the St. John's Roman Catholic Cemetery (7873 Wellington County Rd 109, Arthur, ON N0G1A0). A reception will be held on Friday, September 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion (281 George St, Arthur, ON N0G1A0).
