He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilburt and Madeline (Buchanan) of Havelock, Ontario.; his parents-in-law, Elmer and Elizabeth Kemp (McNeil); and his brother-in-law John Langan.

He is survived by: his spouse Sandy (Kemp); his daughters, Jessica Morrow (Rob Britton) and Holly Malynyk (Derek); his sister Ruth Althouse (Fred); and his siblings-in-law, Jack Kemp (Marilyn), Haroldeen Owen (Kirk), Veronica Read (Ken) and Cathy Langan. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
