He is survived by: his wife Leona Read; his children, Stephen Read (Katherine), Colleen McGregor (Hugh) and Heather Emery (John); his sister June Oliverio; and his siblings-in-law, Harold, Jo, Jean and Fred (Joy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
