She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Boardman and Dorothy Boardman (Wilson); and her great grandchild Grace Menzies. She is survived by: her husband Jack Amaral; her children, Sandy (Dave Desmarais) of London, Kim (Herb Gibson) of Mount Forest, Kevin Amaral (Lylah) of Waterloo and Dorothy Chapman (Mike Leblanc) of New Brunswick; her grandchildren, Adrian Desmarais, Lynn, Eric Desmarais, Katie, Jennifer Baia, Junior, Derek Gibson, Savannah, Corrie Menzies, Joshua, Justin Amaral, Anny, Nicky Amaral, Phill Chapman, Adrienne and Brett Chapman; her great grandchildren, Julia, Livia, Ava Baia, Rose, Eve, Jack Menzies and Tristen Guy; her siblings, Barbara Burrows of London and Don Boardman (Elaine) of Toronto; and her friend Glady Stubbs.
