He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Michael, Lisa Cooper of Mount Forest, Jason, Jenny Cooper of Gatineau, Melissa, Barry Martin of Kitchener, Jayna, Kyle Towriss of Arthur, Katie, Jim Solomon of Kitchener and Tyler Day of Arthur; his parents, Ruby Cooper of Drayton and John Cooper (Jack); his siblings, Terry and Peggy Cooper of Conestoga; and his parents-in-law, John Walsh of Arthur and Mary Teresa Walsh. He was also cherished by his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends.
