She was predeceased by: her parents, Allan Aitken and Effie Aitken; her sister Eileen Thornton; her husband Alan Thornton; and also, Ellis Aitken, Fern and Carl Wride.
She is survived by: her sister Eleanor Wride; and her sister-in-law Carol Thornton. She is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
