He is survived by: his spouse Joan; his children, Leslie Eccles (Sheila) of Conn, Patricia Eccles of Mount Forest, Douglas Eccles of Mount Forest and Paul Eccles (Carmen) of Mount Forest; his grandchildren, Stephanie, Ryan (Cara), Cory, Sandy (Melissa), Nichole, Paula (Jason), Amanda (Paul), Connie (Rob) and Heidi (Travis); and his great grandchildren, Patricia, Johnathan, Johannah, Chloe, Taylor and Ava.

As an expression of sympathy memorial donations to the Cancer Patient Services or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
