He was predeceased by: his wife Edna; his son-in-law Robert Brunet; his daughter Lorraine Soetemans; and his siblings, Mary Strobbe, Joe, Rene, Constant, Victor, Alfonse and Albert DeLeemans.

He is survived by: his children, Diane Brunet and Don DeLeemans (Angela) of Mount Brydges; his son-in-law Cyril Soetemans (Pat); his grandchildren, Rob Brunet (Sinead), Lori Baker (Sean), Heather Brunet, Chris Soetemans, Dayna DeLeemans (Steve) and Colin DeLeemans (Leah); his great grandchildren, Julia, William, James, Carmen, Natalie, Ainsley and Allison; and his brothers-in-law, Ramsay Cairns (Lillian) and Paul VanLondersele. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
